Why try Osteopathy

Who do we treat

We treat everyone, from newborns to the elderly with the gentle Cranial Osteopathic approach. We see a very wide range of complaints from acute injuries to chronic health issues. Physical strain from posture, old injuries, stress and illness can create complex tension in the spine & body which osteopathy attempts to understand and treat.

What to expect

A detailed case history is taken to understand the issues and possible causes. The examination process combines looking at posture, watching movements and assessing tension and injury in the body, we then discus our findings with you.

How does it work

The body has an inbuilt self healing mechanism in order to maintain health. Your body will always try to heal itself, but sometimes it needs a helping hand. Osteopathy is a detailed system of hands on diagnosis and treatment designed to release abnormal stresses and strains in the body. This then facilitates the body's own self regulating healing forces to resolve the symptoms and can be the catalyst to assist your body to regain its healthy balance.
